I am Jane Schweitzer, the owner of Rosebud Soapworks, and I love making soap! And because I love making soap I found myself with an overflowing soap cabinet which naturally progressed to selling soap at craft fairs and farmers markets, making gift baskets, and creating specialty soaps for wedding and baby showers.
I make soap using skin loving oils like avocado, sweet almond, babassu, coconut, hemp, olive, rice bran, and butters like cocoa, mango, and shea. Some soaps have lanolin or beeswax, or specialty oils like camelina. But I never, never use palm oil.
Each recipe is designed by me with special attention to making a product that is cleansing, yet gentle, beautiful, and safe. I make small batches using the cold process technique, so no two bars are exactly alike.
My soaps are lusciously scented with fragrances which are certified to be skin safe or with essential oils that I chose (as an aromatherapist) for the benefits these oils can bring to your skin and to your sense of well-being.
I love relaxing in the tub or splashing in the shower. It is even better when you use a beautiful, handcrafted, skin loving bar of Rosebud soap! Give a bar a try. Your skin will thank you and bless you!
